Internships & Externships Gain career experience with a WILD twist

College-aged individuals and recent college graduates are invited to spend a semester working alongside our talented Zoo staff. These opportunities offer valuable experience in a unique setting for future professionals in many areas.

What We Offer
  • Paid opportunities in animal care and education
  • Unpaid opportunities for veterinary students
  • Applicants should be college-aged or recent college graduates
  • College students are encouraged to seek class credit, but it is not required
  • Interns are expected to work 30-40 hrs/wk for 12 weeks
  • In addition to daily responsibilities, interns are expected to attend training sessions and complete special projects during their internship term
  • We are not able to accept international students at this time

  • Fall Semester applications open Jun. 1, due by Jun. 30
